The Getu Foundation
Currenty we have a lot of support from a netherlands based organisation called Getu Foundation. The foundation was started by a Dutch couple who lived in Zambia for several years to accomodate a lady called Aweke Getenesh Addis (Getu being Getenesh's nickname). She used to work for them but wanted to do some further studies in nursing.
Due to a shortage of enrollment opportunities within the government nursing institutions, the Dutch couple started the private nursing school in order for other pupils to benefit as well. Getu was one of our students Graduating on the 30th October 2009.

This is the Student that the Getu Foundation got its name from.
